Galaxy Buds4 uses an open-type design without the silicone-tip seal of the Pro model. The metal-blade shape gives your fingers a clear place to find controls. Choose Black or White in the option selector.

An 11mm one-way dynamic speaker powers each earbud. Samsung's SSC-UHQ codec supports up to 24-bit/96kHz audio on compatible Galaxy devices with the required settings. Standard Bluetooth audio remains available on other supported devices.

Is this Galaxy Buds4 or Buds4 Pro?
This listing is the standard Galaxy Buds4, model family SM-R540, with an open-type fit and one-way speaker. It is not the silicone-tip Pro version.
Will every phone support high-resolution SSC-UHQ audio?
No. SSC-UHQ requires a compatible Galaxy phone or tablet, supported software and the appropriate audio setting. Other devices can use supported standard Bluetooth codecs.
Do I need a Samsung phone for ordinary listening?
Ordinary Bluetooth audio is available with compatible devices. Galaxy-specific pairing, switching, AI and advanced audio functions require supported Galaxy hardware and software. Advanced app settings need a compatible Android device.
Is the USB charging cable in the box?
No. The official box contents list the earbuds, charging case and Quick Start Guide. USB-C charging accessories and wireless pads are sold separately.
Does the 30-hour figure include the case?
Yes. It includes case recharges with ANC off. With ANC on, rated figures are up to 5 hours on the earbuds and 24 hours including the case. Actual runtime varies.
Are translation and AI features included on every device?
No. They depend on a compatible Galaxy phone, supported apps, software, language and region. The earbuds alone do not provide a standalone translation service.
